Last week I was invited to take part in Budmouth College’s first Prom fair. Student committee members from year 11 along with teacher and learn for work co-ordinator Richard Osment decided to put on the show so Prom-goers could get the chance to see & experience the various luxury services available. Whether it be checking out the varous limousines, dresses, suits, beauty treatments or event photographers – they were all there, well represented.
I was there capturing the students strutting their stuff down the catwalk as the official Dorset Prom Photographer that evening, along with having a small studio setup to catch a few formal prom portraits that any parents may have been wanting as keepsakes.
The evening was a great success and very rewarding for the students involved with all the hard work that went into it. I believe Budmouth College hopes to make it an annual event and with such a cracking start I am sure it will develop and go from strength to strength.
