This just happens to be a low key wedding, informal, relaxed and chilled ! It also happens to be one of my favorite weddings to have documented.
A lovely location, being the only pub on Chesil beach, the very heart of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site. Alistair & Naila both live in Hamburg, Germany with Alistair originally coming from Portland and still having family there. The Cove House Inn was their chosen for a small & intimate wedding ceremony that was absolutely perfect!
A Friday afternoon with the day being slightly overcast – it was perfect for me and the ceremony photos ( strong sunlight, windows & photos do not always work well ! ). A crowd of great people, very warm & friendly and a wonderful couple, so at ease with one another and totally in love.
The service was lovely with both Alistair & Naila’s mothers reading out heartfelt poems. The simple image I took of them holding hands in front of the registrar, exchanging vows, just says it all to me. The moment was captured !
I am really pleased with the beautiful images captured and the wonderful album I have just created. I cant wait to see it and hold it, but as they say ‘all good things come to those who wait !’
