For my first posting of the year its only right & appropriate to wish everyone a very Happy & Prosperous New Year ! Like many others, one of my new years resolutions will be to post more material and hopefully make it as informative, entertaining & interesting as possible.
So here goes……
This Christmas was only my second since coming to settle in Weymouth. So it was the first year that I discovered what the many of the ‘locals’ get up to on Christmas day morning. Run by the Weymouth & Portland Lions club the entrants raised over £10,00o for local charities.
Some swimmers obviously under-estimate the size of the challenge and need assistance in reaching the other side !
