Linus Moran has been a professional photographer for 16 years. He studied Photography at Salisbury College of Art and passed the Higher National Diploma with merit. Even at college he was already undertaking commissions and being regularly published in the national music press such as Melody Maker, New Musical Express and Select magazines.

From college his path led to a position within the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall, London as a processing technician. It was here that he learnt to produce work to an exacting standard, anything less was unacceptable.

Later Linus was given the opportunity of working for the National Newspapers.

By chance and without any local newspaper or agency experience, he found himself undertaking freelance commissions for the world’s largest newspaper at the time. It was a baptism of fire with any mistake resulting in a possible abrupt end to his career. He had to live by the saying " You are only as good as your last job", and this same approach has led to his success over the last 15 years.

Three years ago Linus took up another challenge and relocated to Sofia, Bulgaria. Here he started his own news & features agency supplying specialist content to the UK market.

Family commitments drew him back to the UK at the end of 2009 and he is now based in Weymouth, Dorset.

Linus believes that whilst some wedding photographers offer a ‘photojournalism’ style of wedding photography, not all of them have the credentials to back it up. He himself has the invaluable experience of covering demanding assignments all over the world, and working efficiently to tight deadlines.

Linus's assignments have taken him all over the world; from a studio shoot with Girls Aloud to documenting history at Princess Diana's funeral, photographing celebrities on the Swiss Piste to chasing wanted criminals through Cairo's back streets. Any environment can be his home, with high pressure, tight deadlines and a strict brief still leading to a perfect shot.

Linus’s dramatic eye-catching images have appeared on many front pages and his natural eye for detail has taken him to the top of his profession and consequently to the creation of stunning wedding photography.

He aims to produce a stunning style of documentary wedding photography with contemporary portraiture thus creating a complete story of your day.
