I haven’t been too good with keeping this feature up to date lately posts up lately. With reloacting the business into new office premises in Poundbury and keeping up with all the latest wedding bookings, distractions have been plentifull!
To break to mould though, I thought I would share this image from Sam & Alex’s recent engagement shoot. They wanted something a bit grungy to suit their rock themed festival style wedding they are having in October at Lorton House, Weymouth.
They chose an abandoned factory in the village of Gillingham, Dorset for their rock themed engagement shoot. It was a real find for them to discover as I was under the impression that everything in Dorset was all so very idyllic with beautiful natural scenery.
This place was rich in the grunge factor!! Graffitti and broken machinery everywhere – why I decided to turn up on a hot summers days wearing open sandals, I dont know! Careful placing of feet and considered photography was very much the approach I adopted.
This one image stood out for me as a winning image from the session. Full of mood and colour. With plenty more belters left in the set to share later on, I would love to hear your thoughts?
