I am a Dorset Wedding Photographer with a passion for weddings and my role within them as a wedding photographer. I capture your memories with pride, professionalism & the upmost of care producing luxury photo books of timelessly beauty that your special day deserves.
I like to be unobtrusive in my approach, preferring to document your wedding day naturally unfolding rather than being an influence upon it.
I prefer to use available light wherever possible and not use ‘flash’ photography. This approach allows me to maintain a lack of awareness from wedding guests, providing natural and relaxed imagery.
This is not to say that I do not compose and arrange portraits – Of course I do. A beautiful stately home, country house or beautiful gardens are all exquisite backdrops within which to capture great photography and often prove too fine an opportunity to miss.
I will always discuss with couples what they like and how little or large an input they envisage wanting from me. I can deliver a pure documentary style approach to capturing your day or I can inter weave this with classical portraiture & fine art. Either way is fine with me, its your day and we can do it your way !
A wedding is a huge day, rich in experience, emotions & memories. I love both being there to witness it and the thrill in capturing it. These wonderful images will serve to illustrate and define your memories, but they will also prove to be a historical record of the times that we live in.
To this end, I understand the wish for some formal photography to record the coming together of large family groups. Busy lifestyles and large distances often limit their opportunity, so when it happens it should be recorded succinctly & professionally.
I am based in Weymouth, Dorset and regularly travel throughout the UK to photograph the finest weddings.
